![]() The more I sit and think about the oak note it reminds me of a dark Maduro wrap on a cigar even leather, lots of earthy tones that I am quite enjoying. Second sip and it is more well rounded this time, a lot more caramel sweetness now, that rye note is still here in the distance, but man that oak is here to fucking rage and I love it. Off the first sip I really get a lot of oak and that is from start to finish, off in the distance there is a rye/pine note as well. ![]() It starts off with a pop then the mid palate kind of goes flat but the finish keeps partying till the wee hours of the night. ![]() Mouth Feel: Initially I was meh on the mouth feel, but after a few sips this really is oily and coating, very thick and chewable.įlavor: That is pretty hot off the bat but feels like it will mellow out after a few sips.
